Export a Clean Asset
Check the edges, verify transparency, and export a file a game can use.
Your result
A transparent PNG at the correct size, plus an editable project backup.
01What you will learn
- Remove stray pixels and check edges against the checkerboard.
- Confirm the background is transparent rather than white.
- Export at 1x and keep a project backup you can reopen.

Nothing changes, this is a check
24 × 24 pixels
03Follow the steps
- 1
Look for single stray pixels
A pixel sitting alone outside the outline is almost always an accident. Zoom in and scan the area around the cap and the stem base.
An outline with no isolated debris.
- 2
Check every edge against the checkerboard
Any white or gray block along the edge means a background color got painted. It should show the checkerboard all the way to the outline.
A transparent edge with no painted background.
- 3
Export at 1x first
Export a 24 by 24 PNG. If it does not look right at native size, multiplying the scale will not rescue it, it will only make the same mistake bigger.
A 24 by 24 transparent PNG.

Download the project backup
Use the practice files row below to save a project file. It reopens in the editor with palette and frames intact, unlike the flattened PNG.
A PNG to drop into a game and a project you can keep editing.
04Practice in Pikanim
Clean any stray pixels, confirm the background is transparent, then export a 24 by 24 PNG and download your project backup.
Opens a 24 × 24 canvas with the lesson's starting pixels. Your work saves in the Workspace.
05Check your result
