Export the Sheet
Verify transparency across every cell, then export at 1x.
Your result
A transparent 64 by 16 PNG, plus a project backup you can reopen.
01What you will learn
- Check the gaps between cells are transparent, not white.
- Confirm no cell is offset after export.
- Export at native size and keep an editable backup.
Start with: The checked four-cell strip from lesson four.

Nothing changes, this is a check
64 × 16 pixels
03Follow the steps
- 1
Look at the gaps between cells
The 16-pixel gaps must show the checkerboard. A white column between cells means a background got painted, and every frame will carry that seam.
Transparent gaps between all four cells.
- 2
Verify the width after export
Export, then reopen the file and confirm it is still 64 by 16. A tool that rescales on export silently breaks the grid.
A sheet whose dimensions survived the export.
- 3
Export at 1x
Take the native 64 by 16 file. Scaled exports are for final presentation; the asset an engine slices should be the original.
A 64 by 16 transparent PNG.

Download the project backup
Save a project file too. The PNG cannot be re-animated; the project can, and it keeps your palette.
A PNG for the engine and a project you can keep working in.
04Practice in Pikanim
Confirm the gaps between cells are transparent, export a 64 by 16 PNG, and download your project backup.
Opens a 64 × 16 canvas with the lesson's starting pixels. Your work saves in the Workspace.
